Design Intent
A renovation of a traditional country house that adds a contemporary upper extension with dark cladding and a slatted timber balcony railing atop the original stone and masonry ground floor. The project transforms a conventional village house into a modern two-level home.
The new upper volume features a gabled roof with standing-seam metal, large windows, and a wraparound balcony. Inside, open living spaces with warm wood finishes and a functional kitchen look out to the surrounding rural landscape.
